Guest Bathroom Remodel – Simpsonville, SC
Guest bath refresh in Simpsonville — 60-inch solid-wood vanity, quartz top, porcelain tile floor, comfort-height toilet, new lighting and mirrors.
About This Project
The same Simpsonville home's guest bathroom needed the same care as the primary, on a tighter budget. We replaced the floor with porcelain tile, swapped the vanity for a 60-inch solid-wood unit with a quartz top, undermount sinks, and new faucets, and installed a comfort-height toilet. Lighting and ventilation got a full update — new vanity light, two framed mirrors, towel bar, hand towel bar, paper holder, plus a ceiling light/fan combo and refreshed GFCI outlets and switches. Walls, ceiling, and trim were patched and repainted. The estimate also included an optional tub/shower upgrade with a Kohler Archer tub, Moen valve, full tile surround on Wedi or Schluter waterproofing, and metal corner shelves — written into the same quote so the homeowner could phase it or do everything at once.
Ketner Family's Goals

Frequently Asked Questions
What was updated in the guest bathroom?
Flooring, vanity, quartz top, sinks, faucets, toilet, lighting, ventilation, mirrors, accessories, paint, and electrical devices were all updated.
Was a tub/shower upgrade included?
It was quoted as an optional add-on in the same estimate — a Kohler Archer tub, Moen valve, full tile surround on Wedi or Schluter waterproofing, and metal corner shelves.
Can the tub and shower upgrade be phased separately from the rest of the remodel?
Yes. We routinely write estimates that include a base scope and optional add-ons — so you can approve the vanity, flooring, and lighting now and add the tub surround later when the budget allows. We'll note which items are interdependent so you can make an informed decision.
