Walk-In Shower Installation
Custom-built walk-in showers across Greenville, Anderson, Spartanburg, and all of Upstate SC — frameless glass, real tile or premium solid-surface, with full Schluter waterproofing behind every install.

A Walk-In Shower Built to Last 20+ Years
Replacing an outdated tub-shower combo or worn fiberglass surround with a true walk-in shower is the single most-requested upgrade we do across the Upstate. A properly built walk-in shower opens up the room, makes daily use safer and easier, and — when it is done with a real waterproof membrane behind the tile — protects your home for the next twenty-plus years.
We design and install every walk-in shower as a one-shot project. One crew, one schedule, one written number. You are not living through weeks of construction or chasing three different subcontractors. Most standard tile walk-in showers wrap in 5–7 working days; curbless (zero-entry) builds run 7–10 days because of the additional framing and slope work.
Why this matters
A walk-in shower is the upgrade buyers in the Upstate SC market consistently rank first in primary bathrooms. Done right, it pays back in resale, in safety (no tub-step), and in twenty years of leak-free service. Done wrong — tile over cement board, no real waterproofing — you are calling a contractor inside of five years.

A standard custom-tile walk-in shower with porcelain walls and a quality frameless glass door runs $6,500–$14,000 installed across the Upstate. Frameless glass typically adds $1,200–$2,800 over a sliding or pivot door. Curbless (zero-entry) walk-in showers run $9,500–$18,000+ because the subfloor has to drop to slope toward the drain, which adds framing and waterproofing work. We quote line-item, in writing, before demo day.
Our Process
What it actually looks like from the free walkthrough through final hand-off.
We measure the existing bathroom, talk through your goals, photograph anything that affects scope (drain location, subfloor access, plumbing wall), and give you a line-item quote in writing — typically within 48 hours.
We help you pick tile, glass, fixtures, and niche/bench details that fit your bathroom and budget. You see real samples, not catalog renderings.
Day one: existing tub or shower out, drywall opened, subfloor and studs inspected. Anything that needs repair gets photographed and priced separately before we proceed — no surprise add-ons.
Schluter-KERDI or Wedi membrane bonded to walls and pan. New mixing valve and drain set. Pan sloped and verified before tile.
Tile set with grout lines aligned across walls, niches, bench, and floor. Epoxy grout on wet walls. Glass measured to your finished tile and installed 7–10 days later.
Every detail reviewed with you. Care instructions, warranty paperwork, and follow-up contact info handed over before we leave.

Walk-In Showers FAQs
Real questions we get on the phone every week — answered straight.
How much does a walk-in shower cost in Greenville and the Upstate?
Custom-tile walk-in showers typically run $6,500–$14,000 installed. Curbless (zero-entry) builds run $9,500–$18,000+ because of the framing and waterproofing work needed to slope the subfloor toward the drain. Premium solid-surface walk-in showers fall in between at $7,500–$11,000. Every quote is line-item and in writing before demo day.
How long will a walk-in shower install take?
5–7 working days for a standard tile walk-in shower from demo through frameless glass. Curbless builds run 7–10 days. We give you a firm written schedule before demo day, and we do not double-book trades — your project is the one we are working on.
Can a walk-in shower fit in a small or older Upstate bathroom?
Yes. Most older Greenville, Anderson, and Spartanburg homes have bathrooms in the 5×8 to 6×8 range, and a 36×60 or 36×48 walk-in shower fits comfortably on the existing tub footprint. Large-format tile and frameless glass make the bathroom read larger than it actually is.
What waterproofing do you use behind the tile?
Schluter-KERDI or Wedi sheet-membrane systems on every wall and pan. Cement board alone is moisture-tolerant but not waterproof — a real bonded membrane is the difference between a shower that lasts 20+ years and one that fails inside of five.
Do you build curbless (zero-entry) walk-in showers?
Yes. We routinely build curbless walk-in showers for homeowners planning to age in place. The subfloor drops to slope toward a linear drain, the pan is fully waterproofed, and slip-rated tile finishes the floor. ADA-grade grab bars, a built-in bench, and a handheld wand on a slide bar are all standard options.
Will the install disrupt the rest of my home?
The bathroom being worked on is offline for the project. The rest of your home — including any other bathrooms — stays fully usable. We tape off the work area, run drop cloths from the front door, and clean up daily.
What's the warranty?
5-Year Workmanship Warranty on the installation labor. Tile carries the manufacturer warranty on top. Frameless glass carries a 5–10 year manufacturer warranty against seal failure. Solid-surface wall systems on premium product lines carry lifetime warranties from the manufacturer.
Do you offer financing?
Yes — through our lending partners, including 0% promotional plans for qualified buyers and longer-term low-monthly-payment plans. Approval terms depend on credit, project size, and lender. Ask at your free in-home estimate.
