Hall Bath & Half Bath Remodel in Anderson
Hall bath and half bath remodel in Anderson — new vanities, quartz tops, hexagon tile floor, relocated exhaust fan, and fresh paint throughout.
About This Project
Brett's Anderson home needed both the hall bathroom and the connected half bath brought up to date in one trip. The hall bath got a full surface-level remodel: vanity replaced and topped with quartz with a matching backsplash and side splash, new undermount sink, faucet, vanity hardware, framed mirror, and a single vanity light. The popcorn ceiling came down and the surface was skim-coated and patched, including the wall opening where the original exhaust fan used to live. We relocated the exhaust to the ceiling on a fresh duct run with a new fan, removed the old flooring, and installed hexagon tile with white grout. Walls, ceiling, trim, and the bathroom side of the door were primed and painted. The half bath got customer-provided flooring installed, a damaged toilet flange repaired during the floor removal, a new toilet, vanity, quartz top, undermount sink, faucet, light fixture, and mirror. Clean finishes throughout.

Frequently Asked Questions
What rooms were remodeled?
Both the hall bathroom and the connected hall half bathroom were remodeled in the same project.
What flooring was installed?
The hall bathroom received new hexagon tile flooring with white grout. The half bath used customer-provided flooring that we installed, and we also replaced a damaged toilet flange that we discovered during the floor removal.
Why was the exhaust fan moved from the wall to the ceiling?
The original wall-mounted exhaust fan wasn't clearing moisture efficiently and left a patched opening in the wall when it was removed. Moving it to the ceiling puts it directly above the shower where humidity concentrates — the more effective and code-preferred location for bathroom ventilation.
